Unsurprisingly I couldn't find a thread for Firfells but I just got five of the six from eBay and I wanted to let more people know Remco made knock-offs of Wuzzles so I made one. These came out in 1985 and like Lost World of the Warlord or Sgt. Rock Remco actually used a pre-existing licence to knock-off Hasbro/Disney's smooshed critters, this time from a kid's book called 'Who Ever Heard of a Fird?' they only made one wave (again, unsurprisingly) of Fird, Elephonkey, Dicken, Butterfrog, Shamel and Bertle. I think that the Poseables should count for this site, if not please delete mods? So yeah. Oh, I also wrote a huge blog post for them, no-one reads my blog but I feel like i'm somehow contributing to pop culture somehow, it's here: anotherfblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/a-tribute-to-firffels.htmlAlso, if anyone has a Dicken (I can't believe I just said that) they want rid of, feel free to PM me, I will graciously remove it from your life .

Actually, Disney ripped off the real creator & writer, Othello Bach. She created and wrote "who's ever heard of a fird" in 1984. Her books and toys sold until 1987, when they then mysteriously disappeared. A couple of months later Disney created the wuzzels. Ms Bach fought for 19 years before getting her rights to the "Fird" back.
