Hi victoryleo i can tell you that they did release more centurion figures a year later. Unfortunately kenner decided to stop production but i have the official kenner 1987 toy fair catalog and it shows other centurion figures and weapon systems that were about to be released but never went into production. I can say they looked very cool, especially the glow in the dark Rex charger.
Here in the UK, i may have mentioned this before but an eBay seller was selling all his centurions figures ever produced including rex charger which i have no idea how this person had that in his possession but it was there with the electro charger. All went for £250. Now that was a bargain and i almost got it but got outbidded.
I also contacted Hasbro who owns kenner now and mentioned if they would re- release centurions figures but i kinda knew the response i would get. It went something like this.
Thanks for your inquiry unfortunately the production has been gone for a while but i will mention your inquiry to the marketing director. Obviously it wasn't exactly worded like that but you get the idea.

Rumors have it that the bins in the old Ohio kenner factory are piled in prototype figures. There is still a fence surrounding the place. Kenner employees were restricted not to take any thing out of the bins. Guess the policy was strict back then. So i guess now and again prototype figures do pop up rarely on auction. Kinda explained the Rex charger figure. Try and purchase the 1987 catalog toy fair kenner and you will see how many figures they were about to come out. I mean the shark for instance, cool idea also the panther. Don t wanna spoil it for ya.

I live about 5 mies from where it was.

hi joshua the auction for the centurions figure lot and rex charger went on the 16th jan 2010. I know this because the next day was my birthday so if i did win the auction it wouldve been the best day ever.
I think i saved the link in my inbox email. Just to prove that it got sold pretty cheap. There wont be a photo anymore as ebay delete the photos 90days after the auction end. I wish i wouldve saved the photo as well.
I will post again soon if i do find the ebay link, or if not the description.

Thanks for the share, Sliderguy. And thanks for the info on the auction. Whoever won it got a bargain by the sounds of it.

Short of protos, all I need to complete my boxed/sealed collection now is a Swingshot (and I have a spare sealed Seabat).

I just discovered this thread. Reading over all these years of comments, I'm surprised that no one mentioned how much the three main characters look like Tom Selleck, Adam West and Robert Conrad.

Hey Guys heres a question, has anyone run across a site or place that does repo- stickers for centurions, along the lines of say Stickerfixer or Reprolabels...i just scored a mint wild weasel in box but the sticker sheet was absent.

Fan from the UK here, just found this forum!
My collection is almost there - well I did have pretty much everything once (most boxed) but had to sell to fund some house related thing!
Slowly been rebuilding collection, just need a SeaBat and Swingshot to finish my set off. Keep searhing ebay but no luck as yet!

I've got a spare sealed Seabat, but I'm saving it in the hopes of using it as trade fodder for a sealed Swingshot sorry.

I very much doubt I could afford a sealed one in all honesty.
As all mine are loose anyway I'd rather it unboxed just for completeness I guess :-)
I saw a sealed Swingshot on ebay recently as it happens.

Hello everyone! I just signed up having found this forum from a google search for Centurions Swingshot.
I've started collecting the Centurions toys since last year and the only toy to elude me is the Swingshot. There are two auctions on ebay right now for parts of the Swingshot but not the complete. Hopeing to get the full toy soon!
