I still think that these figures all look too similar to each other, but are still an OK 80s line. I remember getting some sort of Visionaries prize in a cereal box when I was a kid, but have no recollection of what it actually was. For some reason I always thought these were kind of "B" grade figures until just a few years ago. Now I own all the figures that didn't come packaged with a vehicle. Check out the Visionaries toy gallery on the main site at www.action-figures.ca/visionaries.htm

I had a few as a kid, but don't really have any interest to collect them. They're sort of just GI Joes with holograms. I like Supernaturals much better. From what I've been told, the Visionaries cartoon was supposed to be great.

I like them too, I have several of the figures and vehicles. A few years ago, while I lived in Vancouver, there was store that still sold old toys and they had a unopened dagger assault. Should have picked it up but it was quite big.

I thought the figures were pretty good. The cartoon was very strong. Probably one of the best cartoons that came out in the 80s. Too bad its run was so short.

In a issue of tomart, they showed the unproduced figures and vehicles as well as a large playset with a some sort of 3D contraption.

I'm pretty sure it's red. I have a couple of them laying about somewhere. I do remember the holographic windows.

I own the Dagger Assault, Sky Claw and Capture Chariot MISB (the Dagger Assault I'm pretty proud of having in that condition), but knowing my luck and considering this place, someone is likely to come on here in the next post stating that they own the Iron Mountain Playset and every single 2nd year proto .

this was a cool show, ive been watching whatever episodes i can on youtube. honestly, im praying that one day the 4H do an 80's Themed Toyline and just crank out visionaries, blackstar, Defenders of the earth, thundercats, silverhawks, etc. id really love to see some visionaries redone in the MOTUC scale. my favorite as a kid was feral, i think he came with the dagger asualt, but i got him at a yardsale as a kid. i loved his wolf emblem!

wow, this show is fantastic. its quickly become one of my top 5 80's cartoons. i cant believe it was abandoned. honestly, i think it was just too complicated for kids to take it all in. im really digging these episodes, and i wish they had released the second series of figures and the playset

ohh right i dont know much about the toyline, i knew he came with one of the bigger vehicles. i guess my brother got him at the yardsale and i got him as a hand-me-down. i remember having mordred and the small ship, man these vehicles were awesome. i missn the absolute diversity of the 80's todays toys dont even come close.

Collection Update: currently waiting on a MOSC Witterquick and Arzon to arrive in the post. Once they arrive I'll only need a sealed Cravex figure which I'll get hold of in the next couple of months with any luck (ironically I seem to have saved the most common sealed figure til last) and I'll have completed my sealed Visionaries collection which only started in November. 1 line down, 7 to go .

Yeah but I figure they're bound to get worse. At least Cravex is the most common of them though.

... and just over 8 months later, I no longer need to collect Visionaries (I'll post pics of the completed sealed Visionaries Collection soon).

The lunchbox is awesome too there are a few cool 'error' toys out there though... the wrong toys on backing cards... looking to get a few of them though!

Anyone got scans of the unproduced series 2 toys- it seems like every single Visionaries fan site out there that had them has died off.

ive also noticed this, and not just for visionaries, are the old toy sites really dying out? i feel like theres just not that much out there anymore. i would love to see some of the second series figures make it into some private collections. stuff like that is great to see, that at least someone got the chance to see some of the cool unproduced stuff!

Pretty much I think? The Starcom, COPS and several other toy line websites / forums have been dead for some time now. Most of the online stores have run out of much of their inventory (well for me with regards to MOC/MISB stuff) too.
Looks like 10incher's links to the pics are no longer working. I do have an issue of Tomart's Action Figure Digest which showed all that stuff but I need to find it...

Here is a custom idea i had for the line awhile back: I never understood the large standard on a pole? So i came up with this idea...works a bit better for knights in amour? so i took a standard and cut the pole off. i then measured an ideal handle length and cut a piece off the pole. i then removed the hologram and drilled two small holes through the shield. i also drilled two countersink holes to hide the head of the screws on the surface where the hologram sits. the screws then went into the now bent handle as you see it. the handle bent really easy into the shape you can see and probablly would have held but with the screws right into the handle its never going to budge. the handles also had two small holes drilled into it to recieve the screws. it held really secure...then i replace the hologram and that was pretty much it. Does anyone else collect have Visionaries?? I need these parts still to finish the figure line: Ectars -...............................just his weapon Mortdreds -.........................just his helmet Feryl -...................................just the figure Reekon-..............................just the figure with helmet
