This is my first post ever on this forum.
I have a bunch of GI Joe from my childhood that have broken rubber bands for the torsos.
Anyone able to direct me in the right direction for replacing these bands?

I seem to remember reading somewhere in here that you have to open them up to replace them. I have looked several times under several headings that I thought would lead me to it, but have not located it.
Edit: I would think that yojoe.com would have some answers, not to run you off to another site.

Like figurecollector I thought there was a more detailed thread here on fixin' these. Somebody might have stated that a similar (if not exact) type of rubber O-ring could be found in hardware stores. Perhaps take a physical example of the band into the store, see if they can order something in for you.

I feel like you could probably go into a hydraulic supply place and find an acceptable replacement. They are maybe 10-15 cents apiece. Barring that, you can order singles or bags of them from joeparts.com and I'm sure other websites.
