I've filled a few Mannix holes and am now only 1 Lancelot away from completing my Nightmare Warriors set thanks to a great trade with Skullbooska.
A big goal I had was to not get sidetracked by new stuff and I'm doing ok with that. I toyed with a few new lines, but so far I've only officially gotten into Hasbro's Ninja Warriors.

I'm looking to complete a few of the KO lines that I have neglected over the past couple of years. the list is so big that I forget about some that I've started.

To get back into collecting a lot this year My main goals: complete my GI Joe Collection (not the complete series, but my own goals). Some FSS figures, Convention exclusives and some others. The MOTU Classics figures I'm after. Collect all the toys from a film I really like. Get a complete/near complete Marx set. Love all your goals everyone

I don't have any near complete Marx sets, but I love collecting the military and cowboy figures. In fact a large chunk of my collection is plastic army men from a variety of manufacturers, hence why I have a whole thread dedicated to them

I love DFC figures. I have been collecting them for quite awhile now. I am missing the dragon, the ogre with the spear, and the naga with the D&D face.

Real fun to read your goals guys! For me, as of now I mostly aim for lines for which a collector case / storage box was made. It allow me to properly store my figure when starting new lines. Also it helps restraining me from getting all the figure, they look pretty good and take less space. Here my soon to be completed Go-bots collector case: Here Tux, Tank and Rest-Q (missing his red cross sticker) in front of the case: For the remainer of the year I aim at filling in: - A Kenner Real Ghosbuster case (have most of the figure, just missing the case and 2-3 figures and parts) - A Star Trek: The Next Generation case by Playmate. Bought a good lot alongside the said collector case, I will only have to get a few crewmember and aliens to fill in the blanks. - I distractly look at a Hot Wheels / Generic little die-cast car collector case. I built-up a small but fancy cartoon/ movie car collection from Matchbox, Ertl and Hot Wheels and look to properly store them. - Else, I got into Starting Lineup Hockey and Baseball guys, mostly aiming at Hockey goalie

I was a huge fan of the 1984 Transformers line. I did have quite a few of the original G1 figures but I've sold most of those and moved towards the MP Transformers line of figures. I love how articulate the MP Transformers figures are and how close they look to the original cartoons and comic books of my youth. I've tried to enjoy the BeastMachines/BeastWars and some of the other variants but the kid in me prefers the original 1984 and some of the 1985 guys the best. I also plan to snag some more of the updated G.I. Joe figures. I believe Gung-Ho is out shortly and he's a much improved redesign from the 25th anniversary line.
In short for me:
1984 Masterpiece Transformers - Reflector, Hound, Mirage, etc (Some of the Knock offs are quite good I really like my QuakeWave) 1985 G.I. Joe - Gung-Ho and Misc other figures

My collecting goal for this year has been to finish sorting and cataloging the various action figures and toys from my childhood that have been sitting in storage so I can figure out what I'm going to keep and what I eventually will part with. It's kind of daunting, but also a bit fun to rediscover toy lines that you had totally forgotten you even had and then read about them and see which ones you never owned (or never got made). Not really a collecting goal...more an "uncollecting" goal. Heh.
I do collect stuff still, though. It just tends to be items that I can display. Pullip dolls, DC Bishoujo pvc statues, Disney Infinity figures, Amiibo. I also get most of the DC and Marvel Lego sets.
I got one of my "grail" pieces last year, which was a rare 12" Sailor Saturn doll from Irwin.

It is time consuming to do the sorting and cataloging, but you will feel much better when it is done. I also took photos when I had them out and started a site with my entire collection by manufacturer on it. It is then much easier to update when you get something in.

Mine is to find more She-Ra action figures. I lucked up and found some at a local flea market, but I haven't had great luck finding them anywhere else. I did come across a Clawdeen figure and the Swan figure, but did not purchase either.

I'm in the process of creating G.I. Joe dio-stories, so I'm trying to get most of the figures and parts that I need in this year.
