Hey guys, I'm looking at buying some of the True Heroes line from toys r us for my son. They have some pretty cool sets and vehicles and if you buy the whole collection you'd have a small army and fleet of planes and trucks. But I'm also looking for some buildings for the figures and I really can't find anything. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I thought about just making some out of some scrap wood. I just thought it'd be really cool to buy the whole set and set up a battlefield complete with some buildings. He'd really love that but I need some help in the building department. Thanks in advance!

The only things that I can think of that would be close to structures might be some playsets in the Animal Planet aisle of Toys R Us. They have some bigger playsets that are like buildings and if some imagination was used, I guess they could be like buildings.

I seem to remember more diorama like playsets when I was a kid. I had all the ninja turtles and Jurassic park toys and they had big buildings and structures. And I know GI Joe had several also but it seems they don't make big sets like that anymore.

You might also keep your eyes open at thrift stores and flea markets if you frequent either.

My big lots has a figure line called world peacekeepers power team elite? Ive only ever seen them at Big Lots around Christmas never anywhere else or any other time of year. They had probably 30 different figure sets and vehicles. Highly detailed but made a little on the cheap side for how much they were. I picked up the command center building for $40 which seems like a steal compared to what they going for on ebay ($70+) its generic enough that it could easily be used for any 1:18 figures. I can only find very limited info on the internet about them and no stores seem to carry them. I would like to know more.

Actually, I was going to suggest that line to you as I saw that stuff at Big Lots last December as well. I don't know much about the line other than I have seen that stuff at Big Lots and KB Toy Stores and others since about 1999. I thought it used to have its own website.
