These are all Corey Stinsons
The ones you ask if are prototypes are in fact super rare HTF Wave 2 line, When you find the they generally go for a few hundred bucks, I have had a few of them and only have 1 wave 2 left Alactra Lagard, which is an awesome figure

Wow, what a great report on a very terrific line of action figures.
I “discovered” the Madelman back in 1993. A dealer from Europe was selling the figures at a toy show in New York City. At $8.00 each, I could afford to buy five of them (Zan, Darman, Bran, Serpion and Saurius). The retail price of regular G.I. Joes at that time was $3.49, so you can see that I was really impressed with the Madelman figures to spend more than double the Joe price to get some!
Almost three years later, in 1996, a friend of mine in France managed to obtain another figure (Lagard) for me. A friend of his found it while traveling in Spain and bought it on my behalf. With the postage worked in, that sixth figure ended up costing me $10.74, which was still a good deal.
I’ve always been intrigued by the backs of the cards that show the other items in the line. Five of my cards are from the first series and one is from the expanded second series. The vehicles shown were really interesting, especially the Defender and Tarantula. The JoMi Toys site did a great job of reviewing many of the vehicles and figures but, unfortunately, that site has disappeared. Kanugo, your report covers many items that JoMi never got around to and that make the line even more fantastic. That Clonstar sphere is ingenious!
Thanks again for the review. I’m sure that Madelman will now be added to several wants lists!

Thank's for your congratulations I discovered this series there was only a few years ago completely by luck. Unfortunately, this series is not really known because only sold in Spain The carded figures is not hard to find and not so expensive (but more than the price you took Starrunn2 ^^),but lately prices have increased for the véhicles (i have only 3, i find with luck really cheap) and the best his the "Basertron" she is very very very expensive!! I love the "Clonstar" concept but i've never found on Ebay,i keep an eye on!

I only had one figure as a kid, and since the plastic quality was not on par with what Hasbro used for example, it's limbs broke after a few years, even though I wasn't playing with Lagard that hard. Anyhow, I love the unique designs and that cheesy take on the 50's sci-fi elements. And I bet it's fun to have most of them. My question is: does anyone know how the mini comics ended?

Awesome line, amazing collection I really love when a company tries to build a toy line based on original ideas. Reading your post about Manufacturas Delgado SA, maybe MA-DEL means MAnufacturas DELgado? Maybe, just guessing here, but it could be. The only thing I have from this line is the minicomic, I have two of same one but still no figures, I would love to have one of the Zarkons!

I just saw on ebay a doppelganger of the Dragotrak vehicle produced by a company called Catec. Called simply "Carrier Tank." Battery op in camo deco with two 3 3/4" generic military figures in plastic baggies. Interestingly, the package reads "Holds most 3-3/4-8" figures, such as G.I. Joe, Thundercats, Centurions, Rambo, and Wrestling Superstars." The package photo looks like it has a B-Wing pilot in the driver's seat, and it looks like it would be mighty snug in there for an 8" figure! Catec seems to have produced some pretty interesting generic, possibly bootleg offerings. Anyone have any info on their other items?

I like it. There are some other Tek Force ones similar to that but not all of them have the bitchin tank treads. I guess some also originally came with a robot that spun some type of staff-looking thing over its head.

I dig the color picks, it looks like not just the Iron Grenadiers loved the black-red-gold colors. Really great pictures! And it's always good to see a tank with working treads.
