Hi, recently I found something that I can not find any info about anywhere. I searched all over the web and not even another picture or mention of it. Then I tried to email any and all toy dealers and collectors on the Web that I was able to find, still no one has any info for me. Now I just thought to begin posting for help and knowledge someone can share out here. So, here it goes!!
I found the A Team Jr. Dumbbell Set. It is made by Cardinal dated 1983, new and unused in the box. It still has the plugs for the dumbbells still in the bags they came in. On the top of the box it says "Build up your muscles like B.A Baracus." They are a pair of dumbbells that you can fill up with either sand or water. Needless to say, I need to know how rare is this? Why can I not find it anywhere and of course, how much is it worth? Can anyone help please!?
This has been going on for over a month now, the only words of wisdom that I received were "Keep that safe and hold on to it, if we can't help you then no one can" Well, that is not helping me..lol Any info you can give me, I greatly appreciate
Thank you for your time
Theresa

I found this 80's catalog page at www.lostateminor.com/2014/04/02/awesome-80s-kids-merchandise/Is this it? Things like this are very cool and may well be a holy grail for an A-Team collector, but finding that person is the challenge. To anyone else its just an interesting novelty. You could try putting it on eBay with a high Buy It Now price and allow people to make offers and see what you get.

I tried to post pics but they are not permitted, said they were too big, I will try again. The picture from that catalog is not it. This is in a box maybe 10x10 inches or so, it has a picture Mr.T on the front and inside are just 2 grey dumbbells with an exercise sheet and plugs for after you fill the weights. I was actually emailed today from 2 toy dealers/collector sites again with no info other than the regular I have been getting, Keep that safe!! It is very rare!! and one said it is the Ultimate find for an A-Team Collectible. All very uplifting since I do own it, but no help since it really gives me no info in which I am searching for!! I think I like your information the best. I love the term "Holy Grail" ...lol Really does fit it. I have been buying and selling and dealing for 14 years, I never ever came across an item that I could not find something about, and I have had some really hard to find/rare items in my journeys. This one has me up against a wall!! Thank you all for your help once again!

Try using photobucket to post the pics. This forum has a feature to post pics but it doesn't seem to work that great.
