Good evening everyone.
I am a new forum member looking to start a collection of my own. I have been collecting comic book statues for the last several years. Now I am looking at tracking down the toys I grew up with - GI JOE, Crystar, Sectaurs, Voltron, etc.
Hoping that I will have something to show for my efforts in a few months.
Already have some some AFA Joes - just need to get some more.
Looking to learn from experienced collectors.

Welcome. It looks like you have some figures to post already. Yes, I guess I do have something to post Question - are any of the LJN collection guides any good? I'm looking at getting into Dungeons and Dragons first and then working out to Thundercats. Are TigerSharks still one of the hardest lines to collect? Just looking for a good start for some basic education. Going to walk around the board a little more I think. Very happy to have found this site.

Welcome! Tigersharks are tough. Lots of great info here and plenty of folks to answer your questions.

Welcome! Tigersharks are tough. Lots of great info here and plenty of folks to answer your questions. They seem to be tough indeed: I don't even know what they are... not very experienced of me, hey...

Welcome! Tigersharks are tough. Lots of great info here and plenty of folks to answer your questions. Thanks for the post. I've been trying to narrow down my toy lines to collect....but not sure if I can do that. Looking to probably start with Visionaries & 1980's Secret Wars All the while I'll be tracking down some Tigersharks I think. I remember not being able to afford these toys as a kid. Kind of ironic that I can now as an adult...well, semi adult

They seem to be tough indeed: I don't even know what they are... not very experienced of me, hey... I want to say that the cartoon was part of the Marvel Action Hour, or similar show back in the late 1980's. It wasn't stand alone cartoon, which didnt help the toy line very much. There are several lesser well known toy lines that I want to chase down. Pirates of Dark Water, Filmation's Ghost Busters, Super Naturals, and a few others.
