Ok I actually forget where I stumbled on this, but when I did I couldn't believe I yet again found a piece of my childhood I haven't remembered or seen since my childhood. The Kenner "Finger Pops Popper". They also sold "Finger Pops" refills on blister cards. What's crazy though is that NO ONE seems to know about these things. eBay turns up no sold auctions and only one guy in Greece has an unopened one (too steep on the price for me, plus I want the U.S. English version) Also searches on Google, Google Images, Flickr....all produce zip. There is a commercial for them on YouTube though. Just wondering if anyone remembers, has seen the English carded version, or even owns one and can take some pics. Here's the photo of the Greek one from eBay. Gotta LOVE that retro logo.

I had one as a kid, I think all I have left is the gun though. Never knew the name of it.

That looks awesome! So your belt goes behind the blue ammmo holder/holster?

That looks awesome! So your belt goes behind the blue ammmo holder/holster? Yeap, you feed the belt thru the ammo belt and instant cowboy. I'd forgot all about this set until I seen the pic. When all my ammo was gone I used it for a "Canon" to fire my little people out of.

I never owned one, but I got to use them a few times in the early '80s. I had a bouncy ball that could shoot out of it. It is great seeing it for the first time as a in a new-in-package item.

Whelp, at least one is now back home in the U.S. lol I broke down and got one of the Greek ones from my original post. Literally the one you see in the pic. Unfortunately it has a crease on the left side. Seems like common sense is in short supply worldwide these days.
Anywho, the thing is pretty huge. Biggest carded toy I've ever seen. I broke down because it seems no one has a clue these existed, or cares if they do. The guy decided to put one up for auction. Won it for $4.25. Shipping was $12.99 LOL
Hopefully one day I can find an American one in better condition, maybe for $10! lol Also a loose one would be kinda neat to actually use again. Especially if I can find multiples of those replacement foam bullets.

I had the Finger Pops, but I can't recall having the gun. I still have a bag of them.

I had the Finger Pops, but I can't recall having the gun. I still have a bag of them. Nice. Yeah they sold a blister pack of 24 "bullets" or poppers so perhaps you only got that. I could easily see those being old school peg warmers. The bullets aren't that small and never went that far so the odds of kids needing another 24 were pretty slim. The only thing I dislike about the Greece model is that they uses all black poppers. It would look infinitely better with the cool blue and yellow mix.

Yeah, mine are blue and yellow. I don't care for the black colored ones as much either.

Still amazed these NEVER come up on the market. I would think once in a while old stock would show.
Today was the only other auction I've seen in a while. I managed to win a loose gun, holster belt and 15 (!!) foam bullets. Thankfully 4 yellow & 11 blue so I can have a complete loose set (3 & 3).
Can't wait to fire this thing one more time. It's only been 35 years or so. lol
