Hi guys, I'm still going through the stuff I emptied from the basement of an old shop (this is the latest find from it all!) I have found a couple of boxes of these vintage 70's / 80's bendy figures. There are 5 in a set, Witch, Mummy, Skeleton, Dracula/Warlock guy! and Pumpkin Head scarecrow. Seem to be a USA thing really, but I found them in the UK! I've never seen them for sale in shops here and don't remember them at all! IMG_0939.jpgIMG_0943.jpgIMG_0944.jpgIMG_0945.jpgIMG_0940.jpg

I definitely had the scarecrow back in the day, but I'm fairly positive mine was orange. May have had the rainbow mummy, too.

Hi mate, yes I believe there are several variations of different paint etc. So that is possible, these are case fresh so it's cool to see them bright and with paint as a lot I've seen are completely abused!

Mint-condition vintage toys are always a nice find! Unfortunately, like most of my collection, none of my own monster bendy figures have been photographed yet (although they're all in used condition). I wonder whether bendy figures are more prone to paint flaking because of the plastic being flexed (often repeatedly and in different directions). Probably so. If so, then perhaps that should be mentioned in a "toy care-and-maintenance" section (along with the fact that you can definitely snap those thin wires inside bendy figures if your bend them too many times).
