Hello, I LOVE action figures, especially barbarian themed ones. I was wondering if any of you had any info on 6 toylines that I was looking into... 1. Galaxy Warriors by Sungold. 2. Galaxy Fighters by Sewco. 3. Galaxy Heroes by 4. Galaxy Adventure Girl by Sungold. 5. Defenders of the Planets by 6. Fantasy World by I was wondering if any of you knew who currently owned the rights to these lines (or if they are public), and a list of toys in all these lines (If you can). The reason is because I am seeing if I can do a Kickstarter to work with the Four Horsemen Studios to make a modern day Reincarnation of these figures in one line and sell them at Toys R' Us and other retailers. Please help...

Check the figure guide on this site, and also use the search feature. All of those lines have been discussed in detail.

It would be cool to see a up-to-date reissue of those figures, and even greater if kids could get to buy them at Toys'R'us. But personally I wouldn't buy them, I'm more into the vintage stuff myself. If you want newer - vintage-like figures - in the vein of those you mentioned, then check out Realm of the Underworld by Zoloworld. There's a thread on them in the 'Modern action figure lines' section of the forum.

90% of these companies no longer exist therefore Id say its safe that the majority have slipped into the public domain. You can do a copyright search for these at a patent office in your nearest city or even online possibly. You will be hard pressed to get the Four Horsemen to re-develop a whole entire line based off of some knock off series, if anything maybe you can talk them into sneaking a few look-a-likes into the Masters of the Universe Classics line. Four Horsemen are only sculptors and developers, you would also need to find a company to host these under or develop your own company and find a factory to mass produce them all. Itll be hard work but I wish you luck.
