At first I was a little cool on the seeing the movie but I wouldn't mind seeing it now but it may or may not have to wait till DVD. I did order the Lone Ranger and Tonto figures from Toys R Us. I ordered them on Monday and the interesting thing is somewhere between 24-48 hours prior to that they were on the website for $14.99 each. By the time I got there to order, they had gone up to $16.99 each. I believe they also went up on Entertainment Earth as well. This seems a tad curious to me. The two figures are listed as "series 1". I saw at least one additional figure in pics on the net that I assume would be in a series 2. However, at present it looks like the movie is going to be huge, when it comes to being a bomb so I would say series 2 of the figures will never see the light of day.

The figures are 7 inch scale. After reading a detailed account of the movie my interest has once again cooled in seeing it. It sounded like the movie is poking fun at the Lone Ranger mythos while at the same time trying to make it solvent again. What a waste.
