I like it! Great for collection! I knew Type1Kirk (Mike) from Mego museum loves Space 1999 stuff.

I have been waiting for one on Ebay, but since I am from Canada, it has to be selling from Canada. Otherwise shipping and duty fees will be a killer because of the size and the cost. I will own one yet!

The value is pretty steap if it's complete in box.
I'd say, a complete boxed one is worth in the neighborhood of 300-400 dollars. Loose complete could hit 250, maybe more.
The decals are always dry rotted too. Also, the ship sometimes has yellowing problems on the seams.
It's a pain in the but to complete a nice one, but dang worth it. It's a true beuty, even in not perfect shape.

I have been holding onto one of the small orange helmets that fit the figures that come with it for years. Hoping someday I will need it. ;D

There is a hobby shop in Toronto which has 2 of them hanging from the ceiling (He displays other models this way too). The owner is a really nice guy and everytime I go to the store, I hint to the owner at buying one of the ships. I don't think he will sell since he "hangs" the items so that everyone can enjoy them - personally, I would enjoy one of the ships in my collection at home lol.

Nice score, you'll have to post some pics when you get it in! I've also been looking for one for awhile now. Wanted to find one in Canada so shipping wouldn't be a killer.

Happened to check out an antique show over the weekend and normally they have very little for action figures. However did pick up a Commander Koening & Doctor Russel pair of dolls for $15 each. Both have their cloths and shoes and Doctor Russel also has her belt, communicator and laser gun.

here in the uk we had seriously awesome die cast eagles made by Dink toys, they were about 9 inches long and heavy the pod could be dropped- it had opening doors and the landing gear were sprung- they were so cool- they came in white green or blue- i see more green ones than anything.
worth looking into. we also got the fabulous mego figures.
