That's why I don't collect them I hate the "internet exclusive" nature of them. Agreed, I am a vintage MOTU fan but the hype over these internet releases is awful. I did resort to buying Megator and Tytus only because I could never afford the vintage ones.

Yeah the vintage ones are insane(And they don't seem to fit the rest of my collection) Perhaps IF Mattel would get some brains they would sell hese to stores.

I would love to buy some of these. I may start at some point but the whole Internet crazy and crazy bidding that goes on with them is a big turn off for me. Hopefully prices will calm down at some point but it doesn't appear to be anytime soon.

For some reason I feel very picky about which MOTUC characters I want, I don't desire to gobble up everything in the line. Ones I'm really feeling are those that would have rocked in the initial vintage waves; Queen Malena/Captain Glenn, Shadowbeast, and Granamyr for example - definitely long overdue. Shokoti and Eternian Guards are, mmm... okay. Plenty of MOTUCs are quite low on my priority list. Maybe it's that I don't want to 'show up' my original MOTU characters with new versions the same. Also I think Matty were a bit too excited to jump onto new concept or super-obscure characters without fleshing out more of the Filmation crew. How can there be no Malaktha, seriously?

I've watched a fair amount of MOTU and I have no clue who some of the characters are. Plundor is a great looking figure but he was in one episode unless I'm mistaken. If the figures were in the $10-20 range I'd probably look to get them all. But I think some go for $100 or more which is just crazy. If I was going to spend that on one figure I'd buy some vintage MOC figure. Or complete a less popular vintage line.

I've still got holes in my original MOTU collection where MOTUC dollars would find better use.

They have finally decided to end the line by next year and look to have trouble finishing it with the necessary subscriptions. I guess we should know by Monday if the line is to be concluded. I personally didn't go for the final sub but do hope they finish the line.

I had a nice collection of MOTU Classics, regretfully I sold mine. I think they are awesome figures... very well made.

I normally don't support unscrupulous sellers, but I also don't approve of the artificial scarcity that Matty uses to drive up the prices and manufacture "collectables".
Since these are just cheaply made in Chinese factories, a good way to get them cheaply is directly from Chinese sellers. I don't know if these toys are rejects/overstock, knock offs, or if they just "fell off the back of the truck."
I was able to get two MOTUC Moss Men loose for ten bucks each with shipping, which is cheaper than they normally sell for on ebay listings, since those are from people who had to pay $50 each off Mattyco.
