im a youngin, my first ever star wars toy was the rubber bendies figures they used to make. i had some ewoks, luke, darth vader, and some stormtroopers. i did have an awesome ewok village playset i got at a yard sale for 50 cents. (best yard sale find ive ever had!) then came POTF2 and i got a Millenium Falcon for christmas i think in 95 was that when it came out? maybe 96?

R2-D2. My aunt got it for my 1st birthday.
As a parent today, that wasn't the best gift for a 1-year old.

when the first movie came out things went a little crazy here in the uk, there had never been anything like them- when i saw the movie i, like every other kid went star wars nuts!
my favorite characters were c3po, r2d2, darth vader, but when i went to the shop the first time i saw them all of the good figures were gone, the droids the stormtroopers, vader, they were in a display on the floor of the shop, and i remember asking my mum if i could have one and she said yes-they were 99p each- anyway i bought the most decent one left- chewbacca- and i took that figure everywhere i loved it! that christmas my dad bought me r2,3po,storm trooper vader tusken, that was the best christmas ever!

My first Star Wars figure would have been either farmboy Luke or maybe it was Vader?? I got about a dozen figures for xmas in 1983 and soon after that I got the Falcon.

My figure I remember having was a power droid.
Then I remember getting tons of ROTJ toys at my small local toy store for a buck each because they were trying to get rid of them.

i was 5 in 77 when a new hope came out and honestly i dont remember it that well. my father was a big tolkien fan so i was more into the animtaed lord of the rings film that came out a little after, i remember seeing that in the theatre. most of my memories before puberty are pretty faded but i remember having star wars figures when empire came out. but my earliest memory of a specific figure i had was the legendary blue snaggletooth. my friend had it and we had no ide where he got it but i was obsessed with it because it was the only one i had ever seen. none of the other kids we knew had one so i traded him some other figures dont recall which ones for it. and of course during a move when i was about 13 a box of my figures i was keeping an eagle eye on just vanished along with blue snags.

General Madine. No idea where he came from. Oh, and Wicket's headdress. I was a Joe kid, and really have no clue how these popped up. I used to pretend Madine was Obi Wan in a suit For years I didn't know the figure from the film, the resemblance is a little vague.

The first figures I remember owning were some Ewoks circa 2nd grade. I traded something for them. I used to have a blast making little grass huts for them out in the lawn. I also know I had an AT AT driver floating around but I have no idea how I would have got him.

Mine was the Rancor and I just bought it about a year ago...I only recently saw the 3 originals last year (go ahead and throw stuff at me) and liked the Rancor the best. They were great movies but since I already knew every character and how the whole story went anyway it probably wasnt as good for me as it was for people who grew up with it....

It was back in around 1990-ish, I was 6 or 7 years old, and the local shop (where I now work, oddly enough!) had got in a load of old-stock original figures. The guy bought in 2000 of them, and sold every last one of them!
Anyway, I got Bib Fortuna and my brother got the Gamorrean Guard, still got them now. I remember being amused by the name of "Luke Skywalker" as our cousin's called Luke. Didn't see the films until... 1994? Maybe even 1995? On VHS, oh yes!

Like many others, mine was Vader as well. I remember getting it in '78 and having dad open it . I still have it. I was 3 years old and that is one of only 20 memories from that age. I didn't get many more as gifts . I had to save up and buy them when I was 10-11. KB had 2 for $1.00 sales when the kenner line was ending . It was fun reading everyone's answers.

My parents bought me the Rebo Band set, because I was obsessed with Max Rebo and his piano thing.
As a kid I only owned that, a wind-up C-3PO and R2-D2. I loved Star Wars, however my toy interests were heavily invested in He-Man, Legos and Smurfs.

Boba-Fett. My brother and I each got one for Christmas. We lost track whose was whose within the first few minutes. I remember being really annoyed that the missile thing didn't come out of his back and pulling really hard to try and get it out.

My dad bought me a Ben Kenobi figure, then a Darth Vader figure so they could have a light saber battle. Those were my first two. The Imperial Gunner was the last one I got.

I was born in 81 so I dont remember having any figures in the 80s. I remember seeing a Falcon once and thinking it was really cool. and I know I had a Return of the Jedi coloring book in the mid 80s. The first SW I can remember getting were POTF figures from the 90s. Han Solo and R2D2 and a Jawa. Still have them and the R2 D2 and Han Solo are complete. I still like the POTF figures and still try to find them cheap. This is a great thread, I loved reading the responses.
