When I was a kid (I'm now 27.) I saw or bought a figure at K-Mart. It was from a generic line in the 3 3/4" G.I. Joe style. The figure was made of completely clear plastic and sculpted similar to the Crystar figures, but definitely wasn't from that line . Info about this figure has eluded me for years and I love to have it again or at least see a picture of it to prove I'm not crazy.

Surely not the fabled Hidden Force. He's like the sun. If you stare at him for longer than a few seconds, your eyes will burn. Several collectors have actually gone blind as a result. This clear ninja that I speak to you about is how you say...EXPLOSIVO!!!

I have one I'll trade it for Sun-Man figures or a seeing eye dog. I have burned my eyes out staring at it on my computer desk. I was gonna trade it to Clambo but he only offered a half eaten apple and a people magazine with the cast of Alf on the cover.

Would it be too much trouble for either of you guys to post a pic? I've been wanting to see this figure again for nearly twenty years.

All I can remember was that he was the size and construction of a 3.75" G.I. Joe and completely clear. I know it wasn't one of the G.I. Joe Shadow Ninja figures that turned a milky clear when exposed to light and water. I saw this figure long before those ever came out. It was definitely from a line compatible with Joe.

First thing I think of when I read clear figure is Micronauts, but that wouldn't fit the timeframe, although the Inter-changeables might? www.innerspaceonline.com/cos.htmReading your post, though, I suspect you'll already know about Micronauts. Someone here will probably know, but they may not want to share the info publicly if they're trying to track one down themselves. Was he completely clear or did he have a tint, such as clear blue etc? Also was the whole figure clear, head to toe, or was it just the arms/legs?

I can not think of anything besides Micronauts or maybe Bionic 6, at least I think the B6 had some clear parts to them. I do not even know of this ninja Clam has asked about. Completely clear body does not ring a bell at all.
Hope you find out though, toys and their children should always be re-united!

The figure is in fact Hidden Force. He was made by Remco and was sold under the American Defense label.
I remember seeing this figure as a kid at a K-mart in Greenville, TN. It's one of those figures that I wish I would have bought.

Thanks for the help evybody. I googled Hidden Force and it was a crystal clear ninja. It was the card art that showed him as being similar in style to a Crystar figure. Finally a 20 year mystery is solved. Even though he's different than I remembered, he's still cool. Here's how I remebered him from the card art of a diferent figure in the series. For anyone that hasn't seen him here's a picture of Hidden Force.

Beautiful figure! A little too rich for me at the moment, but an absolutely stunning figure.

I was going through my collection and was surprised to find two more Hidden Force figures and two packaging variations. As you can see, there is an American flag printed behind the figure on the right. The back of the card with the flag has a picture of all 8 members of S.I.T. I also found my loose set of the entire S.I.T. team with all their weapons (I didn't have time to match them up correctly). Here's a picture:

Great looking loose figure set Jancooltoys! I might go after one of the carded Hidden Forces just because my loose one is missing his weapon.

No, I've decided to hang onto the loose S.I.T. figures, I just wanted to share them with the forum. I think the reason we bought extra Hidden Force figures was to use them for customizing G.I. Joes, like a 3 3/4 inch Mike Power the Atomic Man, but I never got around to making him.

It was an emergency listing to pay Christmas bills and other things. I really did stumble across them while cleaning, I had no idea we had the extra figures in inventory. I was going to list them together as a lot but decided that might make it too prohibitive for some. And if I listed them a week apart we would have missed a credit card deadline. I am happy with what we got for them, and I am happy that collectors who wanted them got them. The Captain America Mego figure helped as well. I thought I had a set of American Defense wrestlers, but I haven't found any yet.

I saw that listing on Ebay, you got it for a good price! Yeah I'm pretty happy with the price and even more happier with the condition it is in. I would have liked to have gotten the one with the cape but that doesn't matter much. You ever grade your figures 10incher and if so how much did it cost? I'm thinking of grading a handful of Remco figures that I have.

Not really into grading figures Bayushigemma as am more of a loose collector and don't think I would really like how AFA puts them in that plexiglass case.
I got my Hidden Force for a good price as well, $50 loose and complete. A few years back he would have cost me $150-$200

Well happy to say I finally completed this sub-series. Just picked up The Fish and Trenchcoat, the last 2 figures I needed. Problem now is all but the Hidden Force I have are MOC and its going to really take a bit to convince myself to take them off their cards.

I had a Hidden Force as a kid. Can't believe I didn't hang onto him. Probably broke or got painted or something stupid.
