OK, we have decided to revise the forum rules on Ebay Auction links. The revised rule is as follows and can also be read in the Forum Rules Posting:
No posting of live Ebay auction links (or any other auction site such as Etsy, Ebid, Blujay, Amazon, etc.) other than your own in the appropriate Marketplace section. Expired auctions (you may want to wait 48 hours after expiration of the unsold item incase it is re-listed) and "Buy It Now" links are however permitted for forum discussion. The post MUST include a picture of the item as well as the price it was sold for. This is so the information is relevent when the link goes dead. Anything other than this will be automatically deleted.
As discussed many times before, the reason we don't want live auction links posted, is so that someone who has found a particular auction through hard work doesn't have it announced for the entire forum to see, thus greatly increasing competition for the item.
Their has been great debate on whether or not to allow completed or BIN links to be posted at all, so please follow the rules above. We would really like to not see this being abused and have to re-think the ruling.

Just to clarify the above, if you post a link to a live, non BIN auction, you are subject to the penalty and warning bar listed in the Rules section.
