Thanks guys! These figs are great, there's a particular thing about the chosen colour pallette that strikes me as either madness or genius, or both. Nobody sane would pick, for a Joe knockoff of all things, to make the main colours of their figures baby blue and bright red, with some gold, silver and dark blue for good measure. I thought I recognised the Viper's forearms and Zartan's biceps but there's been some modifications. Red Raven's torso also reminded me of the Viper's but there are too many differences to imply they just stole the mold. But the designer of these took a big clue from the original Joes, that's for sure. They feel exactly the same, all the proportions are right. Red Raven is obviously a Viper. Condor Strike is most certainly Storm Shadow. Submarine is a dead ringer for Trip Wire. And you need only dig up your old Toxo Viper and Technoviper and they would fit right in.

The Metal Hawk guy's face reminds me a bit of Ralph McQuarrie's concept of Darth Vader.

Word has it these were made in 92. But with dodgy distribution, you never know. They run a tough price, allright. And that's IF you find them. I was bloody lucky.

How much did you steal these for Ghouldrool?

I believe I averaged out at 2,50 euro a piece for these, including the shipping I had to pay. If there's 12, that surely must include repaints. I've only seen the six that I have, and two other sculpts that Sanfords sold on Ebay ( I still have the picture) that you can also see in that picture posted above. So that makes at least 8 original head sculpts. Four more repaints sounds feasible, so that makes 12.

That it is! Beautiful series, but well out of my price range. I will just enjoy your all's great pics of 'em for now.

These are definitely some of the better G.I. Joe knockoffs. I'd love to have these. I wish I could find some good close-up photos of these figures loose.
