Hiyas!
I pick up a pretty good amount of unknown cheapy toys and a lot of times I find out they are either Mc Donald's or Burger King toys. This totally turns me off to whatever the toy may be. My question is: What do you all do with your Happy Meal toys? If they are really old they may be worth a whole quarter and if they are any kind of recent they won't be worth anything for at least 30 years. I usually upon identifying them toss them into the trash as I don't want someone else to ever be burdened by them. I was wondering if anyone who saved them but doesn't care for them could maybe make a video of themselves lighting a huge bonfire consisting of Happy Meal toys or design a huge robotic monster that chews them up and grinds them into little bits. For those of you who are more eco-friendly maybe a furnace that runs on them? Lets face it, these things are not worth the plastic they are made of and are completely disposable. But seriously, what you guys do with them? Maybe this should be a poll?

Hmm. I never considered that some people would like them. I think the only happy mean toys I ever really thought were cool were way back when they gave out actual hot wheels cars! The astroniks were ok too I guess but I think they have really cheaped out on the toys in recent years. Oh yea I thought the muppet babies and fraggle toys were decent too way back. I guess for me this only applies to the more modern ones.

Theyre not all duds. Some of the modern stuff like the McDs Lego Batman series are worth a few bucks.

I have a HUGE collection of them, probably 3000+, and another 200-300 in their original bags. I have them sorted by lines and in ziploc bags in a giant cheat, a dresser in all the drawers, another big plastic chest and tons of boxes in my closet. There's been some pretty cool Restaurant Premiums over the years.
I have the whole set of the JLU figures that link together, those are dope, so was the Lord of the Rings ones that linked together to make the big circle and each lit up or talked independently. I like the ones that make a set when you connect them. I also have the whole set of the Hannah Barberra bean bag plushes put out by DQ back in the 90's. They are worth a little bit and I love them.
Actually, restaurant premiums are what got me into toy collecting.
#also, if you want to get rid of them, donate them to a homeless shelter or Salvation Army (I wouldn't recommend Goodwill, as they will just bag them up and resell them). I donate alot to this free store called Gods Closet, and I have gotten stuff there as well, when I was down and out especially, 10 years ago.

There was a decent market in McD stuff in the mid 90`s but its virtually dead now. Some people will pay good money for early stuff (pre 90), but its mass produced itself into oblivion

None worth that much, from what I can tell. I've consistently found buyers here for the transforming food (into robots and dinos), and occasionally the super hero ones do well in flea markets. Also, occasionally I find a buyer for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as those are 1/18 (and were the only ones that size for some time.

@80's action figures, there have been some that were test marketed only in certain areas that are worth a few hundred. The test market fraggle rocks, the drive through macdonalds cars (can't recall their exact name, but like a potato being driven by a french fry I've seen go for $40), and sets that link together, IE the Lord of the Rings is usually around $60-70, the Inspector Gadget is like $20, the Peter Pan ship is $30 or so. I've seen certain lines go for more than others, like Neopets and those Crazy Bones or whatever they're called (the little hard plastic things).

Nobody likes the Happy Meal Flintstones dinosaurs or the 1988 Chinese Dragons?
