Anyone collect the Karate Kid figure line from Remco? i just got my first 2 in MOC, Mr Miyagi and Kreese with break away wall.
There are actually more figures to this line than I expected there to be. Daniel, Kreese, Sato & Chozen have 2 different figures each and it looks like 3 different playsets were produced.
I guess I am more of a Remco fan than a fan of the actual movie, thats why I picked them up.

I've got a few of them. I too, am a Remco fan. Not a big Karate Kid fan. I got mine in a big lot, just like you got yours. I was watching the lot you won, that contained those figures. I wasn't interested in them however, it was something else. I can't remember what it was. What all was in that lot? Maybe we can work a trade, I know I have some items on your want list. Anyhoo, back to the Karate Kid figs. The figs I have are MOC as well. How are their action features, do they work well?

I watched the Karate Kid for the first time in a long time a little while ago and I have to say I love it, I've got to start looking for some of the toys.

I have a couple of these that I got in a real cheap lot - like 4 euro's for 12 figures or so - but they all had that leg action feature broken, so the leg permantently UP and that really sucked. I had to completely butcher the spring function. At least they are able to stand this way. I'd rather have a non-functioning action feature than a trigger-happy action feature. Incidently, I'm still missing a Daniel - but oddly enough I already have his jacket, and he's not the hardest figure of the line to find. One of these days I'll find one without a jacket really cheap.

Loose they are not bad at all to purchase. My collection is all loose and I will have to look up what I paid but they are well made, look great displayed, have wonderful playsets and they are made by freakin Remco so they are automatically cool for that! I recommend them and I know of at least one other on here who is putting together a MOC set.

I started collecting these, they are sweet. I like the karate kick action. Don't have any playsets but always have an eye open.

The 2nd series of figures on the red cards are a little tougher to find, saw a few of them recently sell for $25-$35 BIN's which is a pretty good price.
