Bellyboy made a post asking for some figure identification help, and as an aside he mentioned he had a figure collection of 537 after about 10 years of collecting.
Which got me wondering exactly how many figures I have, and how many figures (carded & loose) you all have.
Now remember this is figures only. No counting vehicles, playsets, busts, statues, store displays, artwork, PVC, Lego, bobble heads, etc..
So w/ Bellyboy at 10 yrs. of collecting, his entry is 537.
My entry after 10 yrs. of collecting as well, is 832.

I had 1132 figs three months ago I just sold off an entire MOTU collection minus a few expensive pieces, almost the entire collection of LJN wrestling figs and 110 hasbro wrestlers bringing me down 607 figs now, but by the end od Janaury I should be back to close to the origional 1132 figs again. I sell to start over., kinda like recycling.

Just my SW collection(1995-present) would be a couple hundred or so. Then there's the mego stuff(I just got back into collecting Megos a few months ago). I've never really taken the time to count my collection. A majority of my collection is stored in plasic bins, due to lack of space to display everything.

I have never actually counted, but quite a few i would imagine. I own a near complete vintage Star wars run, most of the Joes 82-88, near complete MOTU, near complete G1 Transformers 84-87. That has to be quite a bit just from the 4 major lines, not including figures from the many other vintage lines out there.
Don't have much for newer stuff, though I have most of the X-Men & X-Force Toybiz figures up until they started to go the anime style, a few POTF2 figures and some X-Men movie figures. Most of my figures are loose and stored in baggies in those plastic drawer sets. I wish I had the room to display them all.

Between Star Wars and GI Joes,Id safely say around 600+.....alot of them still on card...minus Joes and vintage SW but like some of you posted....lack of room has forced me to place them in totes and sadly I have to just focus on certain lines (lack of room and money)

This is a question that has haunted me for years. In '98 I had a database going that I lost when my hard drive decided to die. Right before I lost the database I was at 1500 entries, not counting loose figures, vehicles, playsets or doubles, triples, etc... I honestly have no idea what I have anymore but just a quick run down of the major lines; Near complete loose collection of GIJoe from '82 to '92, all carded from '92 to '94. Complete loose vintage MOTU collection, complete carded modern collection. Almost complete loose vintage SW collection, missing Yak Face Complete modern SW collection up to date including a duplicate set on Canadian cards plus most variations. Complete carded collection of Spawn figs up to about series 20 including all variations plus duplicates. The non mainstream stuff is up there in numbers as well, I have figures from almost every 80's and early 90's line, some lines are complete, some are just missing a figure or 2. My problem is I don't just collect certain lines, I collect action figures and refuse to narrow it down anymore then that

I honestly have no idea what I have anymore but just a quick run down of the major lines; That's one hell of a collection. Especially having all of those carded pieces. Geez, even if I decided not to have all my stuff loose, I would never be able to store all of what I have carded. Do you have a picture gallery online? That would be impressive to see all of that laid out at once.

Nice collection Wraith, that's one reason I tend to stay away from vehicles though. Finding the room for them all, it's quite impressive! Saved ya the trouble of tracking down the pics, here's the link to pics of Wraiths vehicle collection
