This ones a new one for me and I'm not quite sure how to handle it. I sold several Computer Warriors figures on ebay. The auction ended the sunday before last. I stated in the auction that it would take up to three days after payment was recieved for the figures to be shipped out. They were mailed wensday morning. The guy who bought them has been emailing me on an almost daily basis asking when I sent them, how they were sent etc. He emailed me again yesterday asking where his figures were at. I told him if they didn't come by next week, I would refund his money. Today he sent me this:
"i really want this item and i'm really(hopefully) looking foward to having these figures so please don't betray me like this! i've been betrayed by so many people for so long and i don't think i can handle it any more; so please send these figures even if you have to deliver them yourself! i don't think anybody else have these figures! i'll give until the end of next week!"
Is it just me, or is he freaking out just a little? I can understand him being upset if he got screwed all around, but I told him I would give a refund if they dont show up. Other than that, theres nothing I can do about it. I had my girlfriend ship them and unfortunately, she didn't get delivery confirmation on them. I can tell by this guys attitude that at the least, I'm going to take a negative over this. Any suggestions on how I should handle this?

Wow, it does sound like this guy is totally freaking out. It snowed like crazy last week end around my parts, northeast US. There's a good chance that may be stalling the package. If you think it may be a reason for the delay, let him know. Flights were delayed, I'm sure it slowed USPS down a bit. Does he have low feedback? Maybe he just doesn't understand how the whole Ebay thing works. I'd just be as honest as possible. Let him know when you shipped, how you shipped, and that it will take a few days to get to him. Assure him that you are not screwing him, have him check out your pos feedback. It sounds like he's just a Ebay newbie, excited and easily frustrated when the package doesn't show days after he pays. My advice is just be as nice as possilble with him. I know it's easy to get defensive(and mean ) when someone's impying that you are screwing them. Personally, I give it 2 weeks after I paid..THEN I start getting worried.

He's been around for a few years, but only has 26 feedback, so he may not have that much experience with ebay. I've tried being nice, I've responded to every one of his emails trying to reassure him that he's not getting screwed, but its getting tough after him telling me I've betrayed him and I need to hand deliver it . He's asking me now what the tracking # is and since it was sent 1st class USPS, it doesn't have one. I guess if he was an experienced ebayer, he'd know this

Try and give him a call if he has is phone number registered with Ebay. It makes it easier to explain things and reassure the guy. I have dealt with similar people in the past, they tend to panic and are a bit paranoid of getting ripped off.

Well, he just emailed me to let me know he got his package. It seems it got thrown in a corner at his post office and forgotten about for a few days.
