made by the company Dakin. they made all the big stars from loony tunes, and also Merlin the Magic Mouse, his sidekick Second Banana, and Cool Cat, who were all new characters at the time. Dakin also made figures in the same style and scale of other cartoon characters, like the Flintstones gang, Deputy Dawg, Dudley Do-right, and many others.
