I think this line is the best action figure line out there today. I bought a huge lot of these a month or two ago and gave most of them to my kids to play with. I like the sculpts and the non-action poses. They are also pretty cheap. You can get these for $5 a piece in the stores or $10 for a three pack.

They do remend me of the good old days before figures had to have 100+ points of articulation.

Anything Justice League related is awesome.
I do wish that they were a llittle more poseable and articulated but it's better having them then not havig them.
The three packs are cool, especially the Justice Lords pack but I prefer the individual one's like Booster Gold, Supergirl and such. I am startting to gather up figures in that line as well as the 1st and second seasons of Justice League on dvd.
I've loved superheroes since as far back as I can remember, if you asked me whether I prefer Marvel or DC I would have a hard time choosing. :)

I looove this line....my first acquisition was Dr Fate and I had this crazy nostalgia flashback to being a kid and playing with my Super Powers figures. Only JLU has twice as many characters and I can actually buy them all. cartoon's better, too.

My gripe isn't the articulation, it's the soft plastic the limbs are made of, that warps easily and makes standing more than 2 JLU figs a freakin nightmare. Also, it's a little frustrating that some figs are only available in a three pack, then single carded figs include accessories to make them different from their 3 pack counterparts.

I've got a short list of 'wants', and some to trade- Hawk, Dove, Atom Smasher, Aquaman, Gold Amazo -all single carded.

Finally, found this site for reference:
http://www.legionsofgotham.org/indexTOYSnew.html

and an outdated checklist:
http://legionsofgotham.proboards70.com/i....read=1142161042

from their list, I need: the Ray, The Shade, Vigilante, Vixen and Orion w/ Harness, Justice Lords HawkGirl and a JL superman(Supes is for a custom).

Also Hal Jordan and Solomon Grundy :D :D :D

There's a three pack out now with Aquaman, Parasite, and Stargirl (?), I need that, too. And Volcana's out in a three pack.

This site also features checklists on JL and JLU and I believe they are heavy on Batman products. Love your collection by the way. I have a pretty good collection of the BTAS and some STAS and am finally putting forth the effort to obtain the JLU. They are awesome but I share the same gripes about standing them up. Their limited joints do not bother me as they are like the Super Powers wo/Powers of course. DC is my fav Comic Company and thus I should have bought more of these when they first came out. Alas...

What do you all think about the Tower, I love it! you can see it in my collection thread set up.

I just watch the Warlord episode this weekend. The episode also had Machiste and Deimos in it. Does anyone know if they made a Warlord JLU figure yet?

The site you gave shows all the upcoming ones I know of, TBRaider.

I love the watchtower, but have never displayed mine. I just kept wanting to hang it from the ceiling, but then it kind of looks like the hubble crashing to earth.

lol Cap you are right, I do wish there was a way to display it hovering in space. Hmmm maybe if we can not hang it up we can build a space looking diorama around it. That might work.

They made a DC direct Warlord that resembles the JLU version. Search EBAY and you'll see it.

I hope they update that site cause it is pretty nice way to see the set...they are missing alot of the new Target JLU figures...and I would love to see the variations as well!

Aquman with and then without cape,
Aquman with and then without hook,
Aquman with and then without Trident

to name a few....

Wow...I was just looking over the sire and if you click on the character of your choice it links you to better pictures and all the variations to their last update!

Very very nice site...these guys could teach Yo Dorks...I mean Joe a thing or two!

By the way I need to complete my collection, the only two figures I need are Ultra-Humanite and Volcanna...any chance any one has these two for trade?

O, and I guess I could add Giganta to the list....

I am up to date with these figures I even have Wonder Pig!

i know at the wizard world chicago convention about 2 years ago the mattel booth was giving away these 18x20 sized folded posters that was basically a checklist of all the jlu figures up until then, i don't know about anything current though. i've seen them on ebay going relatively cheap. i know this because i tried seeing if i could sell mine. i have one here somewhere, i'll let you know if i find it....

Good line of figures. Not as good as DC Direct, but still good. I got a few of these, not many. Superman, Darkseid, John Stewart GL, and Huntress. I know they made a ton of them, though. Cause when they were coming out I wanted a bunch of them (Captain Atom, Shazam, Dr. Fate, Starman, and others), until DC Direct made counterparts to em that were more based on the comic versions.

I have all the figures.....up to date, even all the U.S. Target only ones. (except giganta and vulcanna)

I am selling them all...I want to sell/trade them as a set.....I wonder how I will do??

One reason I want to dump the line is that since the comic and cartoon ended I can not stay interested in them....first time this has happened to me with any toys really.

Any thoughts on this...any one else drop a line of this size and sell them off?

Look at ended auctions single auctions do better on certain figures . I have seen some singles go up to 30 or so a piece that I have gotten in huge lots for under 3 a figure.

Yep, selling many of them individually is the way to go. I picked my entire loose collection including Grundy & Giganta boxed for $300. There were a few boxed 3 and six packs as well. All the figures were there, only missing a few that were released in late 2008.

Found some pics from SCC showing the upcoming JLU figures for the 2nd half of 2009. Looks like some gooders in their, especially Firestorm & Plasticman.

http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode=a....e%2FDay_2%2FJLU

http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll56/jzachery/SDCC/sdccjlu2/

Also looks like the "Mutiny in the Ranks and "The League United" 6-packs are in Target stores now as I just noticed sets popping up on Ebay.

Noticed the three new 3-packs are starting to show in Targets (based on whats listed on Ebay)

- Black Vulcan, Apache Chief, Samurai
- Amanda Waller, General Eiling & Batman
- Superman, Blackhawk & Wonder Woman

Might have to make a trip south of the border and hit the Targets in ND. Hopefully also find the Batman Beyond and Cheetah 3-packs I still need.

Looks like the next wave of figures are starting to show loose on Ebay from a seller in China:

http://shop.ebay.com/le_little_prince/m.....=&_trksid=p4340

Metallo, Cyborg, Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold, Tom Turbine, Plastic Man, The Streak, etc..

Maybe a couple months till they get to retail in the US (based on how long it took for the latest 3-packs)?

My guess on the next wave would be:

Justice Guild 4 pack Mattycollector exclusive
Eclipso 6-pack
Thanagar 6-pack
Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold 3-pack
Cyborg, Plastic Man, Mr. Miracle 3-pack
Superman, Silver Banshee, Metallo 3-pack
Ultraman single
Superman Red/Blue single (50/50 split)
Omac single

Also check ou the Weather Wizard $160, Aquaman $170 and Livewire $300 and that just sold on Ebay from a Hong Kong seller! If you check out their current listings, you can pickup some of the figures listed above from the next wave. He also has a JLU Penguin listed for a $10 BIN (not sure if its legit or not)

Yep, picked all 3 sets (waller, Superfriends & Blackhawk) up about a month ago on a trip to ND. Have a spare set as well that I am negotiating in a trade for the Batman Beyond and Cheetah sets. Hope the guy comes through, really been tough finding those 2 sets. I do have another spare Blackhawk set to swap for something if anyone needs it.

BTW I made a trip to my local TrU last week and low and behold on the pegs... JLU singles (Parasite, Booster Gold, Super Woman, Dr Fate, Batman with Wonder Pig and a re-colored GL)! Problem is they wanted $10.99 each. Thought the line was a Target exclusive in the US only. Maybe things are changing though (which would be cool).
