Bootleg Mexican BSG Cylon?

Just wondering what you guys thought of this. Seller says its a mexican cylon but I have never seen a mexican toy that looks exactly like the U.S version just a different color. I could be wrong, just curious if this could be some kind of prototype or a very clever scam. Also says that theres no markings at all.

Well I am not sure but if you put a C-3PO figure in break fluid it strips off all of the metalic finish, could this be the same thing?

Yep, could be a regular Cylon with all the paint and chrome taken off, though can't really confirm as all the ones have little to no wear.

Wow, I haven't seen one of these since way back in 1999!!! Seriously. I found a few of these on Ebay back then and some of them even had weird Planet of the apes like heads!!! Seriously!!! They were made of the same cheap Mexican bootleg plastic, but, in weird/kewl colors! I wished I had never sold them. They are kewl.

This is NOT vintage, NOT a proto and NOT a licensed toy...just a bootleg made in Mexico, but, kewl none the less.

After I posted this, I searched the net and found the SAME EXACT ones I had!!! Here are photos I have added to this post.

Thats awsome! Thanks for the info. I will be searching for the Planet of the Apes type knock offs.
