Here is a pic of the back of one of the boxed 2 packs (beast & rider) from the Galaxy Warriors line. It shows pics of the figures with their weapons and names. Are their any others missing from this, and if so is it because they are a foreign release?

it's been kinda dead for while. i hope more stuff surfaces. yeah i used to have a Castle of Doom when i was a kid. i saw one a few years ago at a flea market but he was trashed. i havent come across too many of demon fighter either. i guy offered one to me but wanted far too much. i hope to find another. but man the castle of doom just gleeped to another dimension. i dont undetrstand how none would survive the time. even the blackstar ice castle survived and it is made of broken hopes and dreams made to look like plastic. i figure that at least one castle of doom pases through ebay unnoticed a year . im basing this figure on mathmatic probability divided by the production values of the remaining line. but yet ive still never seen one. keep in mind it not going to be listed as castle of doom unless boxxed. so its probably sold for a buck as snake mountain or greyskull. most people dont know. but god damn i want one

Hi, I am a big fan and collector of Galaxy Fighters/Galaxy Warriors and all other similar lines, I have this blond beard warrior, I am pretty sure he is a Galaxy Fighter, because of the fingers and other body details, but he is not listed in any carded GF, and I am sure that he has not other head instead of one of the other characters like Magnon or Sunhawk that have the same body, his head is made with soft rubber just like the others GF that I have. So the origin or name of this Fighter is a mystery to me. The other picture shows two ninjas marked Praise Unlimited Inc. 1986, they were made with rubber heads too, the sword belongs to the black ninja, I bought this one in 1988 with other blue one that I still have with one missing leg, I get the gray one from other collector last year. I don't know anything from these ninjas, somebody knows them?

If Rahh and Deevil are the leaders then according to the shields: Tigerman. Thor and Drgoon are Rahh's team (Black Panther shield) and Magnon, Sahak, Huk, Anubi, Spikes, Triton and Ygg are Deevil's team (Silver shield), thats ok, but what happen with Baltad and Dinoman they both have a Black Eagle shield, so, are they good or evil warriors? I guess they are good.
when I was a child I though that human warriors were the good ones and mutant wariors were the evil ones. But, if there are leaders like Rahh and Deevil I believe that should be a story about this characters just like He-Man or Blackstar, until I know in the Galaxy Warriors world there are not laser weapons, even though in the Galaxy Fighters world there are laser weapons (Demon Fighter), but Baltard and Anubi are in both lines , now I see that these figures are very misleading and hard to clasify, that's very interesting, maybe with the Galaxy Adventure Girl the circle will be complete....just like He-Man and She-Ra...
I have a Spikes marked Sungold in one leg, and others like Tiger Man and Dino Man in the Back
Have you ever heard about Spanish versions, I have Magnons and Huks bodies with lo legs, instead of legs they had water guns, the rare about them is that they came with Galaxy Heros chest plates and mixed weapons, I keep the bodies and weapons and gave the water guns to my cousins; a friend of mine has one MOC, so I'll try to get a pic and post it

Months ago I bought a bunch of figures and the seller send me pictures from the collection of other guy , this guy has all the well known figures and a green Walph, this figure looks very rare, it's obviously a Galaxy Warrior, but I don't know if it's just a variant or came from a spin-off line. There are more variants like this?

Really cool! I love variants and all those details, I though that the cards are cool too, I always liked the illustrations, the firts one is my favourite, it's verry close to Frazetta style, I consider the galaxy lines not only he-man knock offs , they are just other lines with the same concepts

oh my god! Finally I see him again, it's been a long time, I had the red guy when I was a kid, they were made in the mid 80s, I really loved this figures. They have no marks, the Anobe head is not a swap, I have that guy with black boots and gloves, I don't rember the name of the line, but I am sure that this line was a totally different line and not just another minor galaxy line, the figures had original weapons and not the calssic galaxy weapons, well, that's what I remeber.

also a variant version of the monster castle went to a collector in i believe the u.k.. This version was manufactured in even lower quality. and even reports of it being on shelves in england tru's as well. so the range of its release is yet to be fully determined.

I also know about the figures with longer arms, but were they released as GF/GW figures on similar cards?
|
|
|
Post by THE KNOCK-OFF MESSIAH on Oct 21, 2006 12:13:28 GMT -6
the longer arms suited many lines. but its the defining feature of 90's release rather than 80's release.

Hey can anyone educate me a little on this line? I have some of them but always get so lost because there are so many many variations and so on. How many figures in the line, not including variations? Are these list (copied from the archive) correct? GALAXY FIGHTERS SEWCO Anobe Baltard Batoon Centurn Daton (Magnon) Iguana Kobraa (Kobra) Mace Ape Magoon Robic Sunhawk Walph (Anubi) GALAXY WARRIORS SUNGOLD Magnon Spikes Triton Tiger Man Huk Anubi Sahak Thor Baltard Ygg Dragoon Dino Man Also whats each of them worth complete...roughly, who is common and who is rare? Also there is 4 weapons (per line?)..so can or did any figure come with any combination...or were they each issued with the accessories that are shown in the archive? I see about 3 sheilds that are different from each line as well...same go for them? Sorry for the questions but the line seems siple from looking at the archive but wehn i start looking here (this post) and on ebay the line seems rather huge cause of all the variations!!!

You got the figures right. There are 12 figures in each line so don't be fooled because some figures seem to have more than one name. I can tell you this about the accessories (I think it says so in the archive too): GF has two types of swords, two types of axe, two types of armour, and four types of shields. I would say that a certain set of accessories was meant for a certain figure in the GF line. I've seen and owned ALOT of carded GF and only about 2-3 times I've seen a mix-up of accessories for a figure. GW on the other hand is more frequent in being carded with different mixes of the accessories. Since there were a limited set of weapons to 12 figures in each line it's not so strange, but if you ask me, the pictures I've taken of GF in the archive are the correct INTENDED set of accessories for each figure. THE KNOCK-OFF MESSIAH will have to fill you in on GW. About how much a figure is worth and what figures are more rare is hard to tell. In the last year there have been some ridiculous prices on ebay, and there has been winning bids of $50 and up for one figure, but this of course varies. Sometimes demand is high and sometimes lower. What's rare I can't say except that the beasts don't show up very often but when they do they will be expensive as heck, but as for the figures I don't know.

www.action-figures.ca/galaxy_warriors.htm as stated above these all came packed with a few different mixes of acc. but the link provides the intended complete figure and acc. as for rarity its more a case for carded examples not loose. playsets, beasts and vehicles are the rare pieces from both lines. average figure should run between 5 and 10. anything more than that you can blame shillers! these were all very common and produced in nearly every country for more than 10 years straight.
