I found these two in the backroom of my friends store today. Not sure if I want them though or not. I know their imperial but not sure if they are from a line or not. Anyone have any info on these two pieces.

Those are awesome! I have a huge soft spot for elephant mounts. Schleich is coming out with a really cool one in September, and Chap Mei did a cool one too. But those rock!

Hey hey hey! Got one of these recently. Took forever to actually find one, myself. Too bad mine is incomplete and broken. Eh, beggars can't be choosers! Thought folks might appreciate seeing one of these with a passenger. I've only ever seen the same two or three pics of these around the 'net for years. When rocklord74 posted his, that was the first out-of-box shot of the Mammoth Marauder I saw...loved it! I had always assumed Imperial reused the cockpit (or whatever) from the combat chariot...turns out I was wrong...also found out that the armor was all one piece. Yeah, the helmet part on mine is snapped off...bummer. I know see that the guns are also different from those on the combat cruiser. Are the head and butt-mounted guns the same sculpt? No offense, rocklord74, but kinda hard to see in your pic. It looks like they are the same as the butt gun on the stallion's armor from the same toy line. Hmmm...I wonder if there are more than the two colors made?

Oh jeez! That poor guy has a bloody nose! A nose in need deserves Puffs indeed!
Hmmm...looks like the little rotating guns are the same mold used on the stallion armor...I think...gotta break mine out. Are the two main guns in the driver's seat physically connected or is the bridge a separate piece?
God, I'm just full of questions, ain't I?

I don't mind questions, ask away. The two guns are one piece connected to the bridge in between.

Damn, those elephant steeds are fantastic. It's a shame these were never distributed in the Netherlands, I'd sure be all over them if they were! These are really awesome, but since I never had these to play with my He-man collectionas a kid I have no nostalgic feelings for them, so I have refrained from hunting down any of the classic Imperial Fantasy stuff. And of course, nowadays, we have this:

Another set you don't usually see out of the package...at least I haven't...is this thing. I'm not sure if it's truly complete. Either it's missing two large guns or it's made to have mounting options for the guns. Basically, a wheeled cart pulled by a harnessed beast. The top part turns and the guns on the top and base can pivot.

Here's the Battle Bison with Combat cruiser...I guess you can say this set is official...I've seen the beast and vehicle packaged. Unfortunately, mine's incomplete...got it that way, but ehhhh, these are kinda hard to come by so I can live with it. Hopefully, I'll either come across a complete set or find some parts! Okay, calling all experts!!! Is this piece part of this set? It came with it, but I'm not sure what it is. It seems the only place it might fit is on the back of the cart over the seat. On mine, there's some wear as if it had been there before...who knows...any help? Here's a close-up of the bison's face...aside from the gleaming red eyes, he's fairly realistic-looking. Even the mammoths have a splash of unnatural color to give 'em some fantasy pizazz, sheesh! I'm sure people don't even realize this guy was part of this toy line unless they new better! I've only seen the carts in these two color schemes...any others anyone knows of?

Okay, I'll admit...I always confuse Dragons, Knights & Daggers with Robots, Lasers & Galaxies...that's why I'm trying to get things straight. Anyone know exactly what was in which line? Were all the Imperial saddled beast mounts, chariot and cart sets, stallions and mammoths used in BOTH toy lines? I wonder if anyone knows for sure. Anyway, here's all the colored examples of chariots I own. I've also seen pink sets before too...the yellow is actually from a line called Emerald Empress, the girls' equivalent of the Imperial beast mount toy lines. I kinda wonder if they made a silver or purple chariot. Here's examples of the different saddle colors both in standard and weaponized! I know know they made a silver version of the plain saddle. Emerald Empress used a yellow saddle too. I could have sworn I saw an old trade ad somewhere showing off purple saddles, but I'm not sure. I've seen the weaponized version in all gold. Any idea if they made pink or silver or any other color?

I'm trying to track down all know color variations on these babies. Here's all the known versions of the sabertooth serpent. The core color is always blue. The "color splash" down the back seems to come in four varieties: pink, blue (hard o tell), green, and blackish. Sometimes I notice the core blue is lighter or slightly darker. Seems like the highlights are the same way. I'm pretty sure saddle color is random, but only the four seem to exist that I know of. The rhino avenger has four colors as well. It's core color is brownish with the same highlight set as the serpent: blue, black, pink, and green. I'm missing the pink...the least interesting, in my opinion...I'll get 'im in time! The battle beast (two-headed dragon) has a core color of yellow. As far as I know, only three highlights color variations exist: green, pink, and blue. Is there a fourth?! For some odd reason, I love these things (obviously)! One of the few toy lines I've cared about in regards to tracking down all variations...hopefully, one day I'll catch 'em all! Here's a nice shot of some beasts in use: ......circus......of DESTRUCTION!!!

Yeah, not like I had hundreds of these guys pass through my clutches, but I did notice sometimes both the core colors and the highlight colors are often darker or lighter. Hard to tell since most of these were well played-with and you can't rule out fading from sun or whatever.

I'm very jelaous of the diffrent colored sabrertooth beast as I've seen only yellow ones (colored like the 2 headed battle beast in the middle) over here. The blue one is so super awesome!

Ah haaaaaa! I knew it! I knew one had to exist! I managed to get a hold of a purple saddle! Mind you, I got this from someone in Australia...which may or may not make a difference. Like I said before, saw them in advertisements for Imperial beast mounts but was not really positive if they existed...now we know. Okay, let's see it in use! Hmmm, maybe the Battle Bison needs a break from luggin' around that Combat Cruiser all day. Yeah, looks pretty good on him! Home, hooome, on the raaaange...........

Even not when I use keywords like "Imperial bison", "Imperial ram" or "Imperial buffalo". Nothing.

I've been looking for the bison for ages and never found any. And I think Mammoth Marauder is just as rare. Especially with its accessories.

Yeah, you gotta aim carefully! The bigger mystery is...the steering column on the armored saddle...how would that even work? Theoretically, of course...I know they're just toys! Wired into the poor beasts' spines I guess. Cruelty!

yeah we need to call the authorities- someone balanced a dumpster on a baby elephant, shot a bison in the ass,and used a beartrap as a chariot harness on a monitor lizard.

ahaha I've only found the elephant for a few dollars. Now I have to build a wooden saddle to put a motu on it. Is rare to find a saddle. Isn't it?

Wired into the poor beasts' spines I guess. Cruelty! No, no, no. It just works because it has a loose screw. That's why it turns around.
