does anyone have any pics of Cosmic Cowboys or Sheriff Solar figures or cardbacks? I know there's a pic of Buzzard from SS on virtual toy chest, and i've seen a pic of Ironjaw from CC, but what do the rest of the figures look like? please help!

I hate guys like you...this is more than likely one of the few remaining prestine versions on this figure and you ripped the package apart.

Yowza , its all good Sniper . Sal doesn't know how the wealthy baller collectors roll . Dont tell him how you use carded Silverhawks for kindling wood because you like how the chromed plastic "looks pretty" when it lights up .

Nah, i actually don't hate anybody, i was just frustrated. The problem is that there are 2 types of collectors...loose and carded. For every vintage carded figure out there there's probably 100 loose figures. So everytime one get's removed from packaging another get's added to the loose side. There's no reason why if someone is looking for a loose figure they can't just find a loose figure. Why is it necessary to dwindle the reserves that carded collectors have to choose from? You can't fault me for being upset that someone is making MY collecting goals more difficult. Just my 2 cents...3 cents canadian.

I myself am a non remover but prefer loose figures.
Its true you can find a lot of figures loose but not all and certainly not mint and complete
this is especially true for obscure lines like cosmic cowboys
If you collect loose and don't mind if your figure is complete your bound to find a loose figure some time but otherwise buying a moc example and removing it from the card is the only option to obtain one.
And I think Sniper will probably be burried with his figs so they weren't going to come on the market ever again, so it doesn't matter if it stayed carded or not....

I'll tell you what salvatore, if you have a loose complete SGT Alpha Cody, I'll trade you for my carded one that I'm about to open.
The problem is, I'm VERY good at finding these obscure lines, and these are the only examples I've found of either figure. Rather than continuing to search for something I already have, I remove them from the card and move on to greener pastures.
Also, I don't pay MOC prices for these usually. They are priced loose or better in most cases, so to me, I'm not paying a premium to remove them from the card.
I'm leaving all of my figures to my good friend...........

Here are some Sheriff Solar Pics of the 4 that I have....and yes they are a pain in royal butt to collect.
I took a close-up of the markings on the back too "Sheriff Solar" "1986 Diamond Toymakers"
The first pic is Sheriff Solar and Buzzard, while the second pic is Cactus Jack and Smoking Eagle.
Needed are Tombstone and Brand. Any help would be appreciated. I would put high trade value on the other 2 needed.

Very generic figures. Same bodies for all of them. The good guy/cowboys come with the same armor repainted, and so do the bad guys.

Amazing, where do you guys get these obscure lines?
I've been collecting for some years now, but never found anything like what some of you find. Probably been looking in the wrong place, but then again, if i collect more than super hero figures, i need a 2nd house...

I'm 95% done with Cosmic Cowboys, a few guns and 1 armor away, so I can start helping with those.
The Sheriff Solar.....might be a long wait.

The Indians weapon looks like a pretty gnarly death machine. What is it like half spear half rocket launcher? The holsters look great with this line. Pretty cool.

There are 6 of them total. You cant miss them though, with the same bodies and markings on the back.
If you have the cactus accessory that goes on his hand, I'd be very interested.

on a side note, does anyone here watch galaxy rangers? i just saw 4 episodes on a dvd and holy crap that show is unique! they actually have individual designs for supporting characters, returning villians, and great artwork on the space vehicles! im really amazed sometimes how shows like transformers and gijoe (which i both love) made it so far with the animation they had
