I have 1 figure from the line but have never heard of the line until I ran across it recently. Anyone know what is all out there for this 1980s line?  |

It was a short lived line of figures based on the large Maxx Steele interactive robot. IIRC, they had a handfull of figures and a playset. The figures had suction cups on the bottom of them.

I had a few of these figs. They also I believe have an action feature where you press their back and the arms squeeze together. There are some very fragile pieces on these guys. Be careful if you are getting them loose.

My brother and I had a few of these growing up. I don't think they were terribly interesting to us as kids. We were much more excited about M.A.S.K. and Transformers.

The suction cup bottoms are kinda strange. I am going to try and display them by attaching them to the wall! ....nope, doesn't work.

i use to use robo force toys as skeletors skelebots. i dont recall how many existed but ive owned at least 4 different ones. nice pieces,

Does anyone know of any variations on the Robo Force figures and their weapons. Currently I am tracking down weapons and Sentinel I believe has been pictured with Yellow and black weapons. His weapons are a hook and a kinda cross looking club thing I'd imagine. I have weapons for him but his are purple. I'm curious as to what are the actual colors of his weapons and if they are color variations.
Also I have two Hun-dreds but with a differnt shade of grey plastic on his dome and claws, as well as having differnt colored guns. One hun-dred I have has red guns while the other has grey guns. If anyone knows anything that'd be a big help. Also looking for Robo Force weapons if anybody has any. Thanx paul~

The box art seems to show the weapons in a different color than what they actually came with. I am kinda in the same boat as you, just trying to find what all the weapons look like that each figure came with. I know Coptor's for sure, but not sure about the rest. Yeah nice site but the box art doesn't help much. I have a few items boxed so I know the art doesn't 100% match the toys. A few pics I have found shows them loose with their weapons so that's been a small help. I still wonder what color variations are out there. Up until recently I didn't think there were any for this line.
BTW I noticed you have some robo force weapons but kept forgetting to ask you about them. I saw a few things I want off your trade list. I need to post up what I have but have been lazy. I do know I have a bunch of Mantech body parts and weapons,

Yeah, the box art doesn't help very much. I'm not really sure about color variants as I only have the 2 complete figures - Maxx & Coptor. Anyone have other complete Roboforce figures that we can reference to?

These guys were mainly good as robot henchmen for other toylines, like galaxywarrior said. I'm not sure that they were interesting enough on their own, but in retrospect they're sort of neat just for the novelty. For those interested in accessories I can contribute that Blazer came with 4: two each of a flamethrower nozzle and some other weapon that looked a bit like a missile. They were all red. |

I just got my boxed Command Patroller in the mail yesterday. It is HUGE!  i won it for $6 and it looks like shipping came out to more than the seller charged me . I guess he was just happy to get this big assed thing outa his house. |

I will get pics of the vehicle soon, just in the process of repairing a broken wheel  . The vehicle came with a Roboforce Magazine with articles on a bunch of 80s studd (including Empire Strikes Back). Here are some scans from it showing the whole figure line   |

I am new to the site, but i have a complete collection of Roboforce. To answer the question midway up, many of the weapons produced were different colors than the weapons shown on the boxes. A little over half of the figures had different color weapons then what the ads showed. Hope this helps. This is based on all the figures I have purchased and seen, as well as opened up.

Max Steele actually comes with black weapons, Sentinel with Red, Vulgar with a purplish red, and I believe Cruel is the one I'm not sure of. I actually have a pair of black and a pair of red for him. One of the pairs comes with the vehicle, and the other comes with cruel. However, which color came with which, I am unsure of. But definately the first 3 I mentioned, have different color weapons. These 3 were all boxed figures I had purchased and opened.

The fortress of Steele is another things that has different colored items than what the ad shows. The crane is a different color for instance. Other little things like that as well. My stuff is in storage right now, or I'd pull it out. If turnbolt doesn't get pictures up, I'll try to dig out my stuff one weekend.

I will have to check the weapon colors when I open my other 2 vehicles to take pics. You can kinda see the weapons for the Command Patroller in the pic above (they are red). I will have to take a better shot of it for the site.

Yea, the fortress comes up every so often. I've seen a few in the last six months alone. I myself, was going to bid on it, just to get a nicer one. Mine is somewhat older and discolored after all. But, I already have one, and need to use the funds elsewhere for other items.

the playset is about the size of greyskull from motu but shorter. i have one, but it is in bad shape, i have been trying to find a boxed one forever.

That's a mace that goes with Vulgar from the Robo Force line....I had one too that I could never identify until the good folks here helped me out.
