I threw that knight in there for scale just to give you an idea. They actually fit pretty well as PVC's with other PVC's but they are definitely a little too small against the actual action figures.

How do you tell the difference between those and the ones they released with the board game? (I know they didn't release all those figures, just wondered if there was a difference between the ones characters they made for both, I've never really looked at them closely).

they have different styles. like the bobby for the board game had his club over the shoulder, and the spanish one has it more straight up. the sizes are diffferent too. i dont believe a dungeon master was made for the game either.
im also pretty sure all of the board game figures are smaller than the spanish PVC figures

The figures from the board game where taken form a larger collection of pvc figures that also had the dungeon master.
The Spanish ones had Venger the others didn't
So there where 8 figures in the German/ Portugese release
and 9 figures in the Spanish release
Both series are distinctivly different.
I have some of the non spanish series, including the dungeon master, and will see if i can get a picture up later

I wish a company would go back and make toys based on the toon., in roughly the same size as the vintage stuff....My collection would seem whole then.

as promissed, some from the none spanish release A nice to know thing is that for the spanish release figures Tiamat was also planned but it never came out Still there might be some prototypes/ testshots in exisentence. A PVC TIAMAT would have rocked

I don't remember these at all, I picked up a few in a collection this summer and they sold very quickly. I'm kinda wishing I would have kept a couple of the cooler ones. I would have kept warlike for sure but I only got his head.

a PVC tiamat would have been INCREDIBLE. that monster is still my favorite villian from any cartoon show, and that episode is awesome too where they make venger go to tiamat's lair.

Sorry I have such a crappy camera. I got this guy in today and I'm really impressed with how large he is. I have him at a little past 12.5 cm. Much bigger than I thought he was going to be.

Wow, great score man! Do you mind me asking how much he ran you? I saw a lot of all of them on ebay that was just completely out of my price range, but I would love to have this guy in my collection.

Honestly, I got him for 20 euros plus shipping. I've been in the same boat, and I've actually seen close to 10 of these guys sold in the past year. It just so happened that this auction didn't go too high, because anything higher and I probably wouldn't have been able to get it.

I've seen him sell from 20 up to 40 euros. Don't think you will find one in good condition cheaper. I recently added Uni and Diana to my figs

Here's a photo from a German Figure Collector's Guide with the complete set of figures that were released in Germany by Schleich. This line is called "Dunken Master" (Really! Neither Dungeon Master nor Drunken Master LOL) and was released 1986. Names German/English: 1. Herr der Schlösser / Lord of the Castles 2. Junger Magier / Young Magician 3. Wikinger / Viking 4. Bogenschütze / Bowman - Archer 5. Mädchen / Girl 6. Mädchen / Girl 7. Ritter / Knight 8. Einhorn / Unicorn

Alfi I can do one better than a picture from the Comicfiguren Preiskatalog 2009/2010 My collection has grown quite a bit since i last showed a picture and i almost have a full schleich set now. So here are some updated pictures 4 from the comics spain line: The details are asthounding. They look way better then expected and the scale is really good too. Here are their Schleich brethren: And a comparison shot: comics spain Hank and Presto just arrived: So i'm Still in need op: Comics spain Eric, Bobby and Diana Schleich Eric And all the Portugese Figures. These have the same mold as the Schleich ones. But there are color differences for instances presto is standing on a green strip instead of a grey one.

Wow super nice items, thanks for sharing these!!
Any chance we can see another picture with Warduke from the AD&D line for scale? I have always wondered how they would look side buy side, especially the better looking ones from Spain.
I sure would like these but I dont think I would have the luck to find any.
One thing that always always blows me away about this industry is how there never seems to be a abundance of vision...a few years back when the complete cartoon series was released it sold really well according to vender's who carried it. Now why the heck did they take the time to make so many cool special features to go along with this series but no one could have thought "hey we better do the complete PVC line as an added bonus with this set"...to me that would have been a no brainer... I still think these would sell well if they made them...if DC can make a WILDCATS PVC then surely an AD&D set would have enough demand?
